Indian Cricket Team for World Cup 2019 has Announced
Everyone was waiting for the Indian cricket team selection. Finally, the moment has come, the selection committee has decided who will play in the World Cup.
The selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced 15-members team India through a press conference at 3:30 pm today.
Dinesh Karthik and Vijay Shankar created the cut while Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant missed out.
M.S.K Prasad the chief selector of India said that said his committee has covered all bases for the 2019 Cricket World Cup and added the squad has the luxury of 7 bowlers.
Vijay Shankar and Hardik Pandya were both named in the World Cup squad on Monday.
He spoke to the media in Mumbai, and told the names squad in the presence of Amitabh Chaudhary and said that his committee has selected one of the most balanced Indian teams.
The Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli for the 2019 Cricket World Cup, which is going to play in England.
